Merilee, a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, has always loved the work of being a therapist and helping people through the healing process. She graduated from Southern Utah University with her Bachelors in Psychology and obtained her Master’s degree from the University of Phoenix in St. George, Utah in 2012. Merilee has received training in TF-CBT with children, play therapy, sand tray, and is certified in EMDR, working with children as young as 3 years old, adolescents and adults. Since 2016, her understanding and passion to help people who experience trauma, PTSD symptoms, anxiety, and depression has deepened, when she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Merilee and her husband have 3 awesome girls and a dog. She loves camping, having summer BBQ’s, swimming and spending time on the ski slopes.

Shauna BaconLicensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Shauna earned degrees in liberal studies and multicultural education. She has also taught at the elementary and adult school level, as well as taught English as a Second Language. Teaching increased her interest in the home life and struggles of her students and she wanted to help them improve their lives outside of the classroom. Shauna graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2018 with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has completed basic training in EMDR therapy as well as attended a workshop in the use of EMDR for addictions. She has been a board member of the Southern Utah Autism Support Group and has found joy in helping parents and caregivers connect with the resources they need to help support a family member with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Shauna has enjoyed helping those affected by trauma find hope and healing. Shauna and her husband of over 20 years have 2 sons, and as a family, they enjoy the outdoors, and any opportunity for family time.

My name is Cade Pryor, MSW. I earned a bachelors degree in Psychology and a minor in Business Management at SUU and a MSW at the U of U. I focus on working with individuals/couples and families struggling with abuse, behavioral issues, divorce, and addictions. In addition, I focus on impulse control disorders, mood disorders, sexuality, grief, and men’s issues.
I have 3 beautiful children and a wife I love. I love the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and shooting and have experienced joy and live a life worth living. Life can be challenging, rewarding, and it is up to you to desire and implement change. Take control and set your life on a path that will start a journey of healing, increased potential, and satisfaction.

Magnum Morgan –  Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Magnum attended Dixie State University earning his Bachelors in Psychology and Communications. Later he attended the University of Utah earning a certificate as a Service Social Worker. Currently, Magnum is receiving his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, a COAMFTE accredited school. The past 6 years Magnum has worked with young adults 18-30 and their families suffering from addiction, mood disorder, anxiety, depression, Aspergers/Autism, adoption, and sexual identity. He also assisted in developing and opening program homes these individuals. Magnum finds joy and gratitude in helping people become grounded once again and feel comfortable with themselves and loved ones.
Magnum has been happily married for 10 years and has 4 children. They enjoy doing anything outdoors and doing different crafts as a family.

I have received my M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Brigham Young University and I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families experiencing marital and relational issues, complicated grief and loss, ADHD and emotional dysregulation issues including anxiety and depression.

Born and raised in Southern Utah, I enjoy bonding with my family while being outside and find a lot of peace in being out in nature. I recently moved back to Cedar City with my husband and son and am happy to be back home.
