Skyler Porter, Clinical Social Worker

Skyler was born and raised in Delta, Utah. Being the oldest of 6 children there were many different experiences he was able to have while being part of a large family. After returning from serving individuals and families in Malaysia for 2 years he returned with a desire to continue that path. He went to receive his Bachelors of Psychology from Southern Utah University. He is currently working to finish his Masters of Social Work from Utah Valley University. Throughout the last 8 years he has worked extensively with adolescents and their families striving to overcome addiction, defiance, promiscuity, emotional detachment, and other at risk behaviors.

Skyler married his wife Vanessa while working at a residential treatment center in Cedar City and are currently raising 2 boys in the Delta area. Nothing is more important to him than family and understands that effective family functioning is key to positive outcomes. He currently is employed at White River Academy (residential treatment center for young men) and is the head coach of the Delta High Wrestling team.

Delainee Bliss, Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor

Delainee was born and raised in Delta, Utah. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern Utah University in 2018. She completed her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Delainee followed this career path because of her desire to help others achieve their potential, and serve as a resource to her community.

Delainee has a passion for helping others and serving in the community. She enjoys her free time spent coaching the Delta High Drill Team for the past 3 years, and desires to continue serving in that position.

Taylor Peterson, Intern Marriage & Family Therapist

Taylor is a Delta area native, born and raised in Leamington, Utah. After marrying her husband, Derrick, they spent a few years travelling to different states and having adventures before coming back to Delta in 2007. In 2015, Taylor received her Bachelor of Science in Family Life Studies from Utah State University.

Taylor has spent the last 9 years working with at-risk youth. While working with children and families in different capacities, she realized she wanted more skills to help those struggling with depression, anxiety, addiction, and relationship problems. This realization, along with her passion for helping others, led her to further her education. She is currently working on her Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy from Northcentral University, a COAMFTE approved program.

Taylor loves people and enjoys learning new things. In her free time, she enjoys being with her husband and 5 children.
