Brad has spent his working life helping people find peace & happiness in outpatient clinics like ours. Brad has joined with Ascend Counseling & Wellness because he believes that mental health and physical fitness includes more than just medication management. This therapy & medication management integrated approach to medicine will create a secure pathway that will work for your unique experience toward peace and tranquility.

Brad Workman has been blessed to work with the full life span of clients. I’ve spent my career working with individuals and families suffering with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders, I can assist families with a chronic mentally ill person in their midst, and I am experienced with assisting a team with clients presenting with a personality disorder.

I use a solid holistic approach to mental and physical health. I am excited to share some of my ideas with you. If you believe I can be of assistance to you and your family please give us a call at Ascend Counseling & Wellness.  We have offices in St George, Hurricane, Kanab, Cedar City, Mesquite Nevada, and Delta Utah. We can do Tele-health if you are not near one of our several clinics.

Taylor Remer, RN, BSN, DNP-S

Hi, I’m Taylor Remer, and I’m so excited to join the Ascend team to support you on your mental health journey. I’ve been a nurse for over 12 years, and in May of 2024, I earned my Doctorate in Nursing Practice. I’m a certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and I’m passionate about helping people become their best selves.

Throughout my nursing career, I’ve had the privilege of working in diverse healthcare settings, including long-term care, the medical-surgical unit, the intensive care unit, and oncology/IV therapy. These experiences have shaped me into the practitioner I am today. I have a well-rounded perspective and understanding of health and wellness. Over the past five years, I’ve found my true passion in mental health, shaped by my own experiencesand those of loved ones. I understand how challenging thisjourney of mental health is, but I also believe there’s hope and healing ahead. There is light at the end of the tunnel, and it would be my honor to walk alongside you and help you find it.

Outside of work, I have an incredible husband and three amazing kids who mean the world to me. My two oldest are on the Autism Spectrum and have ADHD, (we like to call it AuDHD), which has made Autism and ADHD advocacy a big part of my life. I love sharing the beauty, brilliance, and uniqueness of neurodiversity with others.

We live on a farm/homestead where every day is an adventure! We spend a lot of time outdoors with our animals—goats, chickens, horses, cows, dogs, cats, and more. My goats, in particular, are full of personality and always find ways to keep life interesting. Whether I’m milking, helping deliver babies, or rescuing one from a mischief-filled mishap, they keep me on my toes. If you ever catch me with a little hay in my hair or smelling faintly like the barn, you’ll know why.

I can’t wait to get to know you and work together to help you achieve your mental health goals! I see patients in St. George, Cedar City, Hurricane, and via telehealth.
