Jessica Stone, Clinical Mental Health Counselor
About

Jessica Stone

Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor

My name is Jessica Stone. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services. I later earned my Master’s degree in Dance Movement Therapy and Counseling from Antioch University New England and am a Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist. Currently, I’m pursuing a PhD in Mental Health Policy and Practice, with a focus on helping individuals and families better access quality mental health care. I’ve always been passionate about ensuring that all families have the support they need to thrive.

At the heart of my practice is the belief that movement is both a metaphor and a method for change. I love helping clients reconnect the mind and body and often integrate movement and expressive arts into therapy. Whether through physical expression or mindful awareness, I aim to support clients in discovering new paths forward that align with their values and goals.

I use a range of evidence-based and expressive approaches tailored to each individual, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Expressive Arts Therapy, and a strengths-based lens. I specialize in grief and loss, depression, attachment issues, communication, family dynamics, and helping clients reconnect with their core values.

When I’m not working, you can find me crocheting, playing with my dog, or spending time with my family. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside others in their healing journey and am deeply committed to creating a compassionate, collaborative, and empowering therapeutic space.
