Reena Curl, Marriage & Family Therapist
About

Reena Curl

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

Reena Curl is a dedicated therapist with a strong background in both education and mental health. She holds Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and has focused her clinical work on trauma, depression, anxiety, and attachment-related challenges. Reena is trained in EMDR and Play Therapy and brings a warm, developmentally attuned approach to her work with children and teens. Her goal is to help young clients identify and understand their emotional experiences while learning to manage the “big feelings” that often feel overwhelming.

Before becoming a therapist, Reena earned multiple degrees—including a BA in Psychology, a BS in Elementary Education (K–8), and a BA in Special Education/Resource. She spent 13 years in the classroom developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and supporting students with diverse learning needs. That foundation in teaching continues to inform her therapeutic work, where she takes time to educate clients about their emotions and empower them with tools for growth and resilience.

Reena’s passion lies in helping children and adolescents understand the connection between their feelings and behaviors. She takes a relational, supportive approach, aiming to equip each client with lifelong coping skills, emotional vocabulary, and self-awareness. She values collaboration with families and believes in working systemically to strengthen the environment around the child as well.

Reena lives in Hurricane, Utah with her husband, Dave. Together, they enjoy staying active in their community and spending time with their grown children and grandchildren. They love traveling throughout the western U.S., with the California coast being a favorite getaway. Reena brings warmth, experience, and deep care to every client she works with and is honored to support the healing and growth of the next generation.
