Lisa Jones
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
After three decades of service in non-profit social work and human services, I felt called to take a new direction—one that would allow me to work more closely with individuals and families on their personal healing journeys. I pursued a master’s degree in counseling and became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Today, I specialize in helping others navigate depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting challenges, women’s mental health concerns, trauma, life transitions, and grief and loss.
As a trauma-informed therapist, I’m committed to creating a safe, supportive space where healing and hope can take root. I work with clients of all ages—from young children as young as four to adults 60 and older—and draw from years of experience serving diverse populations. My goal is to connect with clients on a deep and emotional level, tailoring each session to meet their unique needs with empathy and respect.
I understand how hard it can be to reach out for help, especially during difficult times. That’s why I strive to make the counseling process as smooth and comfortable as possible. With a calm and compassionate presence, I offer both understanding and practical tools to help you move forward through life’s most challenging moments.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with family, exploring national parks, traveling, crafting, and curling up with a good book. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or a loved one, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your path to healing and growth.
