Amber is passionate about supporting children, teens, and families as they navigate the growing challenges of today’s world. With a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Utah, she has worked as both an elementary and middle school counselor in Washington County. Now a Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Amber combines her educational background and real-world parenting experience to offer a practical, compassionate approach to therapy. She believes there is always hope—and that asking for help is the first step toward meaningful change.
Drawing from her years as a school counselor and as a mother herself, Amber integrates both therapy and coaching techniques to empower kids and their families. She works with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss, and relationship difficulties. She especially enjoys helping clients build resilience, recognize and regulate emotions, and strengthen relationships with peers and family members. Amber also incorporates play therapy to help younger clients express themselves and grow in a developmentally appropriate way.
Amber is also passionate about supporting women navigating the often-overwhelming transitions of motherhood. Whether it’s identity shifts, guilt, burnout, or changing family dynamics, she creates space for women to process and heal in an environment that feels validating and supportive. No matter who she’s working with, Amber meets each client with warmth, understanding, and respect for their unique journey.
Amber lives in Southern Utah with her husband of 17 years and their three children—two teenage daughters and a 10-year-old son. She finds peace in the outdoors, especially while hiking, camping, or traveling anywhere tropical. Both personally and professionally, Amber believes in the power of strong relationships, emotional connection, and the importance of showing up authentically for the people we love.
