Ali Thacker brings over two decades of experience working with youth in educational and counseling settings. She began her career as a high school teacher and coach, spending eight years in the classroom before transitioning into school counseling. For the past 18 years, she has worked closely with students in grades 6–12, helping them navigate the complex emotional, academic, and social challenges of adolescence. Her combined background in teaching, coaching, and counseling makes working with teenagers a natural and deeply rewarding fit.
Ali earned her bachelor’s degree from Southern Utah University and received her Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix. Most recently, she completed her Clinical Mental Health Counseling training through Rocky Mountain University and is now practicing as an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Her broad professional background equips her to connect with teens from all walks of life in a way that is empathetic, supportive, and grounded in real-world experience.
Her clinical areas of interest include anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, ADHD, and trauma. Whether she’s helping teens manage overwhelming emotions or build confidence and communication skills, Ali creates a safe, encouraging environment where clients feel understood and empowered. She is passionate about helping young people rediscover their strengths and move forward with resilience and clarity.
Outside of the therapy room, Ali is an avid college sports fan who loves to travel, spend time outdoors, read, and laugh whenever possible. Her approachable nature, sense of humor, and depth of experience make her a trusted ally for teens and families seeking support and connection.
