About

Kimberley Witter

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist

I want to guide you to love yourself within your relationships, to find the answers you need to live as your happiest, most authentic self—not only in this present moment but in a way that gently heals what still lingers from your past. I believe that through compassion, connection, and inner work, we can begin to see our challenges not as roadblocks, but as messengers carrying us exactly where we need to go.

I have experience working with children, teens, and adults navigating trauma, grief, emotional regulation, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in the belief that beneath every behavior is a need waiting to be met—and that each person is inherently worthy of love, healing, and belonging. I’m passionate about helping clients recognize their value, face their struggles with courage, and move toward healing and internal balance.

As a Las Vegas native now living in Logandale, Nevada, I understand the unique mental health needs of rural communities. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Human Services Counseling with a minor in Family Studies from UNLV in 2016, and my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from Capella University in June of 2022. For the past five years, I’ve led a monthly grief support group in Logandale, providing a safe space for individuals to process loss and find hope in community.

My counseling approach is grounded in healing trauma across generations, helping clients rebuild their mind, body, and spirit so they can reconnect meaningfully with the people and parts of themselves that matter most. I believe our loved ones and life experiences reflect the areas within us still needing attention and healing—and that healing is always possible.

Outside the therapy room, I’m a proud wife of 34 years, mother of seven, and grandmother to nine. I’m also a lifelong learner, quote enthusiast, and book lover (with far too many titles waiting in my library app). One of my favorite guiding quotes comes from Carl Rogers: “When I accept myself as I am, then I can change.” If you’re ready to begin that journey of acceptance and transformation, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
