About

Heidi Joslin

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Have you ever known someone who needed help—maybe even in your own family—but refused to get it? Reaching out can be hard, but therapy is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. If you’re ready to discover the journey of healing, I want to encourage you to give therapy a try. You are worth it.

I’m Heidi Joslin, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 30 years of experience in the mental health field. I earned my undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin–Superior and my graduate degree from the University of Minnesota–Duluth. Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of serving diverse individuals and families across rural communities, and for the last 11 years, I’ve made Southern Nevada my home.

I enjoy working with individuals ages 16 to 99 and have extensive experience supporting clients through life’s many challenges. My approach is eclectic and personalized, drawing from a wide range of therapeutic techniques based on your unique goals and needs. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful tool for processing trauma and promoting emotional healing.

My clients describe me as empathetic, down-to-earth, and encouraging. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can feel heard, supported, and empowered to move from suffering to coping—and ultimately to thriving. Therapy can help you reconnect with your authentic self and find healthy ways to respond to the pain and struggles that come with being human.

Outside of the therapy room, you’ll likely find me in or on the water, learning the art of pickleball, or planning my next great adventure. Life is about growth, exploration, and connection—and I’d be honored to support you on your own journey toward healing and wholeness.

If you’re looking for a therapist who truly listens and meets you where you are, I invite you to reach out. Finding the right fit is an important part of the process, and I’d be glad to help you take that first step.
