Nicole Johnson

Nicole Johnson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) who provides compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds. With a strong commitment to both physical and mental wellness, Nicole strives to ensure every patient feels heard, supported, and empowered to become the best version of themselves. She takes a holistic approach to healthcare—meeting patients where they are in life and caring for the whole person.

Nicole earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and began her career in urgent care and family practice. Over the past decade, she has focused on family planning and reproductive health, developing a deep passion for serving the Southern Utah community and surrounding areas.

Here at Ascend, Nicole offers comprehensive mental health services, including evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management for a broad range of conditions. She takes great joy in getting to know each patient personally and collaborating with them to develop individualized care plans aimed at optimizing their health. Her greatest satisfaction comes from seeing her patients achieve a better quality of life. In addition to mental health care, she continues to support patients with their reproductive health and family planning needs.

Outside of her clinical work, Nicole enjoys spending time outdoors—whether biking, trail running, hiking, or competing in triathlons. She also treasures time with her family, especially watching her children play golf.
