Jessica Bradshaw, Clinical Mental Health Counselor
About

Jessica Bradshaw

Intern Clinical Mental Health Counselor

I believe we all need space to slow down and authentically discover our own power and identity. If you’re feeling disconnected from who you are, I hope to provide space to explore, heal, and rediscover your own sense of self.

I try to keep my space warm and relational, and I draw mainly from person- centered and psychodynamic theories, meaning that I find it helpful to explore how your past shapes your present, while trusting that you are the expert of your own story. Having space to safely explore and name what your experiences mean in relation to your life story is my focus.

I really believe that what you can mention, you can manage. I approach the human experience with positive regard and empathy and I find connection and hope in working with individuals navigating severe and persistent mental illnesses as well as their families and loved ones, chronic illness, grief and loss, and anxiety+ depression.

I am currently completing my masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have training in Family-Focused Therapy for Bipolar Disorder, Trauma- focused CBT, DBT, ACT, IFS, Trauma-informed mindfulness, and LGBTQIA+ affirming practice (through WPATH).

My husband and I have 3 amazing kids, and in my free time I love spending time with them, being outside in my garden, or finding some creative outlet to dive into.
