Jessica Bradshaw
Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor
I enjoy working with anyone navigating trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety. We would be a good fit if you’re looking for space to understand the patterns that have often shown up for you, as well as the origins of your emotional responses. I have training and experience to support those who live with bipolar disorder, PTSD and trauma, are navigating anxiety, or love and support someone who lives with severe and persistent mental illness. My overall hope in our work together is that curiosity, compassion, and understanding of yourself can increase.
I mainly utilize a psychodynamic approach to therapy, which focuses on exploration of past and unconscious beliefs, to better understand emotions, relationships, and behaviors. Along-side this approach, I utilize EMDR to support healing, DBT to access skills and regulation, and parts work to understand yourself in a kinder way.
I also have specialized training to support those who love and care for someone who lives with bipolar disorder. I am trained in Family-Focused therapy for Bipolar Disorder, an approach that is evidenced-based to indicate the most positive treatment outcomes for this diagnosis.
