About
Chelsey Young
Intern Clinical Mental Health Counselor
I believe that every person deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported. As a person centered therapist, I focus on creating a safe nonjudgmental space where you can up as you are and move at own pace. Our work together is built on trust, empathy, and respect, with your experiences and goals guiding the therapy process. I understand that healing looks different for everyone, and I tailor our work to fit your unique needs and strengths.
I have training in counseling skills, and I bring meaningful life experience into my work. I work with clients who are experiencing emotional distress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and personality-related challenges. I am passionate about working with preteens, teens, and adolescents and adults as they navigate life’s challenges and stressors.
