I’ve been married to my husband for 44 years. We have 5 wonderful children and 10 awesome grandchildren. We moved back to Utah 3 years ago to be closer to family. When I’m not working at Ascend, I’m at home baking or enjoying nature.

I have three amazing kids and two very supportive dogs and a cat! I love learning about the medical field and watching it advance in helping our quality of life. I have always worked in the medical field starting as a CNA, PTA, OTA, Dental Assistant, Surgical Technician, and now a rTMS tech here at Ascend Counseling and Wellness.
Kaylee Butcher
Hi I am the front desk manager for Ascend Hurricane & Wellness.
I am currently living in Hurricane Utah. I chose to live here because of the year round outdoor activities. I love being active and here in Southern Utah I am able to do lots of exciting things with my friends and family. I love to hike, go to the lake, and I love my dog & my two cats.
I love to learn new things & I never want to be bored. I always have projects to do that give me purpose. I do woodworking in my spare time. I build bedroom sets, cutting boards, shelves and just about anything that you can build out of wood. Currently I am helping Ascend counseling & Wellness organize an office and I am remodeling my apartment.

Wendy Paxman
Wendy was born and raised in Highland Utah. She moved to St. George when she was 16 and loves the community here. Wendy’s favorite thing to do outside of work is spend time with her family especially on family vacations. She recently became a grandma and looks for any opportunity to snuggle her grandson. Wendy has been working with Ascend since 2006. She loves associating with therapists and clients. She believes all things can be solved with good communication and kindness.
